Your Employee Handbook

 

The purpose of the Employee Handbook is to provide information about the clinic so that its philosophy policies and procedures may be understood. This handbook, however, cannot anticipate every situation or answer every question about employment. Neither this handbook nor any provision in this handbook constitutes a contract of employment or any other type of contract. The clinic may make changes in the administration of policies and procedures, without notice, when such action is deemed necessary by the clinic administration. Questions regarding this handbook should be discussed with your immediate supervisor and or the Executive Director. Your success in your job depends, in part. on your understanding of the conditions of your employment and what is expected of you.

The staff and health professionals are here to provide patients with the highest quality of care available. By pooling resources and knowledge. this group practice of health professionals offers the best opportunity to promote and maintain the highest level of medical proficiency as well as integration into the overall organizational system for delivery of quality patient care.

The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff are indispensable ingredients of patient care:services and strongly influence the patient’s desire to return for future care.

Patient care; services is a team effort. To this end, the clinic’s goal is to help patients realize and maintain a state of wellness.

Constant updating of facilities and equipment, as well as continuing education of the staff, is vital. The clinic has made a commitment to the medical profession and the public to offer the best medical treatment available.
